Sobroso Castle will host a new series of dramatised tours, organised by the Provincial Council of Pontevedra and produced by EscénaTe. Set in the Middle Ages, the tours will focus on the siege endured by Queen Urraca. In The traces of Sobroso, visitors will become part of the story, taking on the role of inhabitants seeking refuge within the fortress. They will explore its spaces and discover, as action unfolds, how its different features worked and how they were connected to the surrounding territory. The experience will combine historical knowledge, heritage interpretation, intrigue, humour and elements of Galician tradition linked to Samhain and All Hallows' Eve, in a story that will progressively bring together the historical reality of Sobroso with its legends and popular memory.
